The Juneau Gastineau Rotary Club averages 45 members, coming mostly from the government, education, financing, and private consulting arenas, as well as small local retailers and non-profit organizations. We have a very active club and always welcome new members.

Juneau is a community of approximately 30,000, with major economic influences from state, federal and local governments, tourism, fishing, mining, and as a retail, education, health and transportation hub to outlying communities. The majority of its population resides on Douglas Island,"Downtown," nestled below a couple of awesome mountains and the Gastineau Channel (a waterway separating Douglas Island from the mainland), or in the Mendenhall Valley (home of the Mendenhall Glacier).
